Methuen is a fun custom kitchen and bathroom renovation project we were given the honour of working on. To keep the kitchen feeling bright and airy within the bulkheads on either end, a number of pot lights and under-cabinet lights were used to perfectly illuminate the space without adding visual weight overhead. A small island in the center of the room adds a bonus work surface and houses the microwave underneath, freeing up additional counter space around the perimeter. The integrated dishwasher and beautifully large farmhouse sink, as well as the intricate detailing seen on the range hood and furniture legs, showcase the care and consideration that went into this design.
In the guest bathroom, the space is brightened up by the pop of rich, elegant blue used on the vanity and the use of fun floor tiles and light fixtures. The ensuite off the primary bedroom continues the use of geometric tiles, seen in the chevron pattern spanning the wall from the vanity countertop to the ceiling, and features a serene, neutral colour scheme.
